Bulk Weighing

Capacity: 2,000 to 50,000 bushels per hour

This continuous flow system consists of an upper surge bin, weigh hopper, and optional lower surge hopper. Slide gates are utilized to control flow out of the upper surge hopper and weigh hopper.

Initially the upper surge gate is open allowing the weigh hopper to fill to predetermined weight. The upper gate then closes, allowing the weigh hopper to record weight of product. The weigh gate opens allowing the product to flow into the lower surge hopper. The gate closes and upper gate opens allowing the process to recycle.
