Special Features
The Ohaus Adventurer Balance (AR2140) combines unsurpassed value with
solid reliability. The low cost (up to 20% less than premium analytical
balances with the same precision) of this analytical balance makes it
the perfect choice for those needing to get the most out of their
R&D budgets.
Stressing simplicity in function and operation, this balance is designed
for basic weighing applications capable of displaying multiple modes (g,
mg, N, oz, ozt, gn, mommes and more). Standard on all models is a
bi-directional RS232 interface with selectable baud rates for connection
to printers or computers.
The solid die cast metal base rests securely on your bench top.
Adventurer’s unique contoured design with specially angled keypad
enhances viewing, while the two large tare keys – one on the left and
one on the right – allow convenient use with either hand. The
ergonomically designed leveling system with level bubble and adjustable
feet assures that the balance remains level.
• 3 door, full sized draft shield offering easy access and protection
from environmental disturbances
• Weigh below hook is incorporated for below balance weighing or
density measurements
• Easy to calibrate simply place a weight on the pan and press a
